This is the program for those of you who want to learn different global perspectives of how  city spaces can be designed and used.  The teaching is conducted in English and you will spend your time alternating between China and Europe. You should have a design oriented undergraduate education from a school of architecture, landscape architecture or urban/spatial planning. You are now aspiring to gain further knowledge about the public space: parks and squares, streets and markets, ordinary places as well as representative plazas. The focus is on common interests that lie within the responsibility of the city authority, with respectful relations to private property owners and business operators.

The Programme will give you skills to use in work with complex planning and design tasks in collaboration with decision makers and citizens. You will learn to cooperate with various specialists within fields like engineering, environmental science, cultural science, architecture etc.



After completion of the courses and dissertation of diploma work the student is eligible to be awarded an advanced level degree:

Degree of Master of Science (Two Years), Main field of study: Spatial Planning.

(Teknologie masterexamen, Huvudområde: Fysisk planering).
